A course by Turid Rugaas, the author of "On talking terms with dogs"
who made the term calming signals known world wide.
22. - 23. January
Get fluent in dog language!
Dogs have their very own body language that is different from ours, and in many cases surprisingly the opposite of our own!
Did you know that the term "calming signals" comes from the book "On talking terms with dogs", is one of the world's best-selling dog books and is written by the Norwegian dog trainer Turid Rugaas.
The book was first published in English in 1995 and has later been translated into 18 other languages. The book is also one of the most widely used sources in recent literature on dogs since the late 1990s.
For her work with dogs through 50 years, Turid Rugaas received the Norwegian King's Medal of Merit in 2018.
